June 03, 2007 - MPA Seeks Host Libraries for 2007-2008 Revere Award Winners

The Music Publishers' Association is currently taking applications for host libraries for its 2006-7 Paul Revere Awards Exhibit tour. Any library is eligible to host the exhibit.

Each year outstanding examples of graphic design are selected to be honored by the Paul Revere Award. This award acknowledges publishers for their efforts in creating art for the music industry. The winning entries and certificates are then sent on a 10 month tour of the US, being hosted in a different library each month. This year's winning entries can be seen at www.mpa.org.

The only costs to the hosting libraries are shipping costs for sending the exhibit via UPS on to the next exhibitor (1-2 medium sized boxes). The host library has complete freedom with which to display the awards, and can display all or part of the winning entries depending on the size of the exhibit.

Please contact the MPA's Administratorat: for more information on hosting the exhibit.

Included in your email should be complete contact information, and a preference of months in which to hold the exhibit (September-June).
