Annual Meeting Re-cap and (drumroll…) our 2024 Revere Winners!

June 19, 2024

Tremendous thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us on Friday!

We were delighted to Award longtime friend of the MPA, Frank J. Oteri, with the MPA Award for Composer Advocacy and, while he wasn’t able to join us in person, present MPA’s 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award to Keith Mardak.

It was a true pleasure to have David Amram with us to accept the National Music Council’s American Eagle Award, and with the melodic help of Paquito D’Rivera and Tom Chapin.

As ever, there were so many outstanding scores submitted for the Paul Revere Awards this year. Often, in the most competitive categories, it can come down to half a point separating a title that places from a title that doesn’t. With that, our judges wish to acknowledge the tremendous work being done by each and every submitting publisher.
